            My alternative dispute resolution experience includes arbitrating disputes for the American Arbitration Association since 1996, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (and its predecessors the New York Stock Exchange and the National Association of Securities Dealers) since 1991, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Dispute Solutions, Inc. and in privately negotiated arbitration disputes.

          I taught alternative dispute resolution including arbitration, mediation, and negotiations  as an adjunct professor for over 25 years at the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management and undergraduate school and at the University of North Texas.

 

            Issues I have arbitrated  include termination of employment, employee discipline, work rules, work related injury and disease, non-subscriber disputes, sexual harassment, breach of contract, employment discrimination, overtime, family and medical leave, retirement, commission disputes, non-compete agreements, and securities issues.

 

            FINRA arbitration experience includes protocol compliance, raiding, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, suitability, churning, misrepresentation, fraud, unauthorized trading, and supervision.
